Assess and Teach was created by Michael, a practising primary school teacher in the United Kingdom. After years of spending evenings and weekends buried in marking, Michael saw an opportunity to use artificial intelligence to help teachers provide better feedback in less time — without sacrificing the personalised, curriculum-aligned quality that students deserve.

Michael continues to teach full-time while developing and improving Assess and Teach, ensuring the product stays grounded in the genuine needs of educators.
